You know we want to see a body that is, meticulous a body that is rigorous a, body that pays attention a body that, does due diligence and works together, and that is the reason why i say the, workout of the four commissioners was, unfortunate but they had good reasons ,for that and i think one of the things, which we need to look at moving forward is to clarify..
There seems to be a gray area in the law with respect to one, how the commission works yes the number ,one question is what is the commission right, the law defines the IEBC as the commissioners ,but we also know that the commission goes beyond the commissioners it involves the secretariat so the security is sort of the functional service component of the commission which is appointed recruited and appointed by the commissioners so they support the commission but together that wholeness is what is called the commission so that in itself is confusing a commission together with the secretariat at the same time it is a commission when it is the commission as a loan and again.
We go back to the appointments you know the commissioners are appointed differently right the chair is appointed differently the qualifications for the chair are different in fact the threshold in terms of the qualification of the chair requires someone who has the experience you know that is equivalent to that of a judge of the high court you know so the bar is so very erased already for purposes of the chair right right or the chair person but the other commissioners their qualifications are also enlisted but not to the level uh and specificity with which that of the chair is described and this must be derived from the responsibility that he burst correct so and uh you know then and they are also appointed differently right and independently...
